Ground Cover, Mulch and Compost Bins

Black woven polypropylene which is UV stabilised for long life. It is porous so water does not collect on the surface.
Use it as a surface mulch in the green house, as pathways in the vegetable garden, in a strawberry bed (also suppresses slugs and keeps fruit dry), around young trees and saplings. Used on a vegetable bed prior to planting it will warm the soil and conserve moisture.
Used as a subsurface mulch, it can be covered with soil, bark or gravel for permanent weed control. It can be laid underpaving slabs to prevent weeds growing through the cracks.

Capillary Matting

For irrigation in the house and green house Made from polypropylene and rayon, it is easily cleaned and reversible and is unaffected by acids alkalis and algicides. Our capillary matting combines optimum water movement with high water holding capacity. Use it to keep house plants watered while you are on holiday, to keep seedlings watered in the green house, or to line hanging baskets to reduce the need for watering.
