Strawberry Cages

Configure and buy a strawberry cage: 0.45m (1ft 6in) high
Economical prtoection of your strawberries. Each cage is supplied with 12.7mm diameter aluminium tubing, horti-balls, a 19mm square mesh duo-filament knotted net and pegs. The maximum distance between uprights is 2.5m (8 ft). The net is pegged to the ground and lifted to gain access to the cage.

Ground Cover for Environmentally Friendly Weed Control

Black woven polypropylene which is UV stabilised for long life. It is porous so water does not collect on the surface.

Use it as a surface mulch in the green house, as pathways in the vegetable garden, in a strawberry bed (also suppresses slugs and keeps fruit dry), around young trees and saplings. Used on a vegetable bed prior to planting it will warm the soil and conserve moisture.

Used as a subsurface mulch, it can be covered with soil, bark or gravel for permanent weed control. It can be laid underpaving slabs to prevent weeds growing through the cracks.
